The Croatian (and Istrian, for that matter) variety we call the Muscat is actually the most prized species of hundreds and more Muscat, grown throughout the world - the muscat a la petit grains. The wine is vinified to fully express the delicate aromatic nature of the naturally mature grapes. It provides an intense fruit flavor with citrus and floral notes, and well balanced sweetness perfectly accompanies its intense freshness.
It pairs well with desserts made with fresh ricotta, cream, raspberries or strawberries, pannacotta or tiramisu, and it is perfect with traditional desserts such as apple strudel or sour cherries.
